- I'm a mom of three young kids who is grateful to have found a creative outlet in this full season of my life. Nena's Garden was named to honor my mom, Helena "Nena" Halterman, who passed away May 2004. She knew how to grow things well, especially relationships. I am a beneficiary of her careful planting and patient prayer.
